Our Story...
Poo-fessional Recycled Organics and Land Management Inc. (PRO Inc) is a small, family, minority female-owned, home- based company operated on 14 acres in Odessa, FL.
The nature of our business is producing professional grade compost, topsoil, garden soil, mulch, vermicompost, firewood and compact-able fill from recycling and screening unsuitable soils, plant debris, and manure.
We also provide site work services including clearing, excavating, laser grading, grinding, bush hog mowing and more!
The owners have combined their over 15 years of expertise in teaching agricultural education, engineering and project management, owning and operating a successful site preparation company and a love of gardening to create a premier recycling facility near the Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas county borders.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, up to 70% of the municipal solid waste is organic material with 20% being yard waste. Composting reduces waste sent to landfills while creating job opportunities. Compost usage increases water drainage, water holding capacity, nutrient holding capacity, organic matter content, cation exchange of sandy soils, acts as a pH buffer, regulates soil temperature, aides in erosion control and air circulation by increasing void spaces, decreases diseases, slowly releases nutrients into soil, and can correct deficiencies in minor elements.
What makes us different?
We provide products and services to meet the waste disposal needs of local animal farms, home owners, landscapers, and construction companies. We are the only facility in the area that accepts manure. Composted manure is a key ingredient in our nutrient rich garden soil blend. We supply the needs of landscapers, construction companies, plant nurseries, home owners, and landscape supply yards. We are regulated by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the EPC and all our soils are tested quarterly.
